I received this belt faster than expected. The material is thick and sturdy and seems like it'll hold up. The orange is tad brighter in person then photo but that's what I was looking for. I ordered M/L belt to wear with high waisted shorts and it fits perfectly. For reference, my waist is 31 inches. As for the smell, it wasn't bad just strong like the smell of an inflatable pool (which I actually like) lol
