This shirt is well made, the underside has some stretchy bunching to keep it in place. The quality of the fabric is good, for the actual shirt and the hems. The shirt is lightweight which is what I need for my 6lb chi in the spring and summer months when the AC is but a sweater is too heavy. This shirt is long too, it goes all the way down to Gizzie's tail but he can still go pee with it on (it's made to fit a male or female dog on the underside) - I do fold the bottom yellow hem up when he's outside to help him feel more comfortable. The sleeves come down the front legs just the right amount and he is mobile and seems comfortable. Out of the box I hand washed it and threw it in the dryer for a few moments. It looks great, very cute, the colors pop and the dino is adorable. Giz looks like a little baby that you just want to mush when you see him wearing this. I would recommend. I bought a size 10 for him and it fits well. He is 6lbs and his body length is short, not a longer chi- but this would fit a longer bodied dog well also due to it's length. This is a good value for $9.99. The shirt was shipped fast and arrived in a plastic bag inside the box.
