Very good cookiesI like these cookies. I like their flavor, texture, ingredients. Was surprised that my most recent order revealed the packaging has changed. Instead of loose cookies in a resealable pouch, the cookies are now inside a plastic tray, inside a foil-like bag, inside a box. Maybe people complained about the loose cookies sticking to each other in the pouches? Anyway, the new packaging seems wasteful (more materials to trash) and the bag is not resealable. I prefer the old packaging. At least the cookies still taste the same.We purchased the four variety pack and there was a cookie missing from one of the boxes. The bag was sealed, but we opened it to find there were 11 cookies in the tray instead of 12. These are too expensive and there are not enough cookies per box to shrug off missing one.Oatmeal raisin and peanut butter were our favorites.The Maxine Heavenly cookies was tasty for an all natural cookie. The price for the four flavor box was good. Believe that will be my preferences when ordering again. The cookies are small in size and chewableThese cookies are so sweet that the flavors of the oatmeal, chocolate and peanut are very muted. The texture of all except for the chocolate chip cookies is very doughy. In fact, they are so very soft that they leave thick residue all over the inside trays!!! The chocolate chip cookies are supposed to be crispy, but they are crumbly. These cookies are not worth the price paid by a long shot!I had just purchased 2 bags of another brand of vegan cookies from a local store. Then, I saw the ads for Maxine's Heavenly and decided to order them. After tasting just one cookie, I literally threw the other cookies AWAY! Maxine's are the best cookie I've eaten, period! And the fact that they are vegan and free of everything that I DO NOT want to eat, I'm going to be ordering over and over again. Furthermore, my kids and family have to get their own, because I am not sharing!These blew our minds! We originally ordered some as a gift for our vegan friends but we ate them all before we could give them away and immediately had to order more. (We eventually did end up gifting them a Variety Pack and now they are hooked for life, too!) We devoured the Chocolate Chocolate Chunk cookies so quickly that the bag never got closed. The chocolate is rich and fudgy and everything you want to indulge in. l I always order the Variety Pack because no one in my house, including my six year old, can choose their favorite! I highly recommend these...we can't get enough of them!
