This is a chocolate mold, will not withstand high heat and is not dishwasher safe. For general care: wash and rinse in warm not hot water and dry thoroughly.

I bought this mold for my 12 year old granddaughter. She used it and made treats for her friends at school. She used food coloring for red fingernails and the knuckle creases, and gusher candy inside the green tinted chocolate for added effect. The chocolate did spill over the edges when she made the fingers, so the fingers were not perfectly formed in the back. But, I'll still give this product 5 stars, because it made the most wonderful looking Halloween treats by a 12 year old girl. She was thrilled with her accomplishment and her friends loved them. The fingers were delicious too! That's what Halloween is all about -- perfect fun!
