I love a good soap. I'm pretty picky about what I want and this checks most of the boxes. It lathers well, it's not sticky, and it doesn't feel like it leaves any residue. It doesn't melt away and is a nice size to use and hold. The rope is sturdy and actually works nicely for hanging from the hooks in our shower. Because it's unscented both my husband and I use it. Personally, I would prefer something with a scent that was a little more of a luxurious experience, but if you're looking for a good plain soap, then this is it.If you like your soap on a rope, retro style, or you like giving such soap as a present to others, you probably can't go wrong here! There's four big bars of soap, individually wrapped. In trying the soap, it lasts a good while and puts out a nice lather. It's non-skin-irritating, and it has a mild pleasant scent, one I can't quite put my finger on a name for, but that I like. I wish it had just a bit more scent, and I also was kind of confused by the product page, which mentioned there were "4 Tantalizing Scents". I thought since there were four bars of soap, each would be a different scent, but they are all the same scent, so it must mine each one is four scents combined! I like variety, so that was a little disappointing, but not a huge deal. A nice deal on some quality soap you can hang up!Once the soup has been used a couple of times, it just falls off the rope that it's on. Soap itself is otherwise good and leaves my skin feeling great.love the rope aspect, great to hang in the shower or hold so it doesnt fall. nice jasmine scentSoap on a rope was a thing back when I was a kid 40 years ago. I was kind of surprised to see it even around. This is a nice large bar of soap that lathers nicely and rinses off well. The fragrance is very mild. Personally I wish I had a little more fragrance to it. I’ve been using this for about a week now and I’m happy with it. I have not gotten down to the rope inside however and I’m curious if that will become a little bit of a nuisance at that point. Still not quite sure why you need a rope on your soap but if you want one give this product to try. With the mild fragrance would work great for women or men.The four large bars of cream colored glycerin soap came extremely well wrapped!Outside was a thick black plastic layer well taped to keep out any moisture. Next came an attractive box that lets the rope stick out the top. Inside the box the soap bar was snugly wrapped with plastic wrap. Needless to say, this glycerin soap had no moisture damage in transit!The bars are a hefty 200 grams (7.05 ounces) each and measure about 3 1/2" by 2 1/4" and are about 1 1/2" deep. These large bars of soap should last quite a while, especially when hung up by the rope to dry. The rope loop is about 4 3/4" long.The soap lathered very well with lots of little bubbles. The rope dried quickly when hung up after use and didn't drip all over the soap.The sandalwood scent is mild and remains faintly on the skin after using the soap.There is an expiration date of about 4 years in the future.If you are looking for a great smelling natural soap-on-a-rope, then this 4-pack of Bar Soap for Men/Body and Face Natural Bath Soap in a sizeable ~7 once bar are the ones to have on hand! Depending on which history you read, "soap on a rope" was introduced roughly 60 or 70 years ago. Various companies make differing claims about that early history. The concept was to "hang" a cake of soap to dry to make it last longer. And that concept still works.We're happy to give this product 5 stars. The soap has a nice, mild scent and it lathers easily with or without a washcloth or shower sponge. It's pretty generic soap, but we're happy with it.We would add one tip: This is a fun product and my wife and I enjoy thinking up DIY "theme" gifts for folks for birthdays, milestones, housewarming and other occasions. This is something you might consider as an addition to a themed gift box or basket.
