This set is upper-low tier or lower-mid tier Sabian cymbal kit (depending if you're glass half full/empty). However, this kit is a HUGE upgrade from my PDP Mainstage default cymbals. Not only do the additional cymbals provide variety in my playing, but even the sound of these new cymbals have revitalized my desire to practice. If you are still using the default drum kit cymbals, or are looking for a casual-player-level upgrade within a budget then these are a wonderful option.Not my cup of tea on the hihat set, but the smaller crash and ride cymbal are nice and match up well with what I usually play. This set is kind of a smorgasbord for Sabian on the XSR range. There's something in there for everyone. Decent intermediate cymbals.Good seller. Quality product. Took a little to longer arrive but, I didn't pay extra for faster shipping.These are okay cymbals. I think there are better cymbals for the same price.Really good cymbals for the money…So if you're looking for a more mellow cymbals for doing jazz etc. these would probably not be the best fit as they are loud and bright. However it is easy to make a bright symbol a little less… They should work for pretty much any application. The drummer in our band thought they were excellent value when he used them for the first time.Cuando compré estos platos tenía dudas ya que anteriormente pasé por unos sabian xs y no estaba del todo conforme con el sonido. Ahora que tengo los Xsr puedo decir que... son mucho mejores que los zultan o amedia, por lo menos los que yo he probado. El ride es una pasada buen sonido, buena campana y bueno crasheando. Los crash buenísimos también el de 16 tiene algo que no me termina de convencer del todo pero suena bien. El pack que compré lleva crash de 18 y 14 que suenan genial y splash de 10 que también suena espectacular ? el hithat suena increíble si es verdad que un poco más oscuro estaría mejor pero llevan un sonido plano muy estándar que se adapta a cualquier estilo. Estoy súper contento y creo que no hace falta pagar más para tener un set de platos que den la talla como lo hacen estos.Un muy buen juego de platillos para el gig o trabajo. Definitivamente no los usaría como platillos personales ya que el sonido es muy estándar. Pero para darles carrilla y traerlos de arriba para abajo en el trabajo son muy muy muy buenos ya que son muy versátiles y te resuelven en cualquier género musical.For the price, these are very good cymbals. Certainly more than adequate for me as a hobbyist player, but they’re no AAX or HHX. Nice attack and sustain, sound-wise a pretty big step up from the B8s and B8Xs I had. It’s was great to get the extra crash, so for the price this gave me a full set (hats, 2 crash and the ride). Of all the cymbals in the box, I find the hats are the best.
