Wilton Rose Silicone Candy Mold for Chocolate, Soap, Candle Making - Perfect for Valentine's Day, Wedding Favors & DIY Crafts

I bought this because we wanted to make a cake with gold roses. It is 100 degrees here and I knew my buttercream would not hold up to that kind of humidity. I thought this would be perfect to use again and again. We have a new microwave and it does not do well with Wilton candy melts. I learned this the hard way! I tried to melt the candy in the mold as it states. It burned! I was able to clean out the mold without any damage though. I thought it was this mold but I used the pan I always use for melts in the microwave - and it burned again. I bought the Wilton melting pot and used this mold again. It worked much better this time. I stuck it in the freezer for ten minutes and the candy was ready. The only reason for my four star review is that no matter how much I tapped the mold - I still got some bubbles on the roses. I colored the roses with pharaoh's dust and you really could not tell that there were bubbles. Everyone loved the taste of the candy melts and I liked that they were all the same size and almost perfect. I will be using this mold many times. I highly recommend it!Absolutely recommend this mold. Easy to use and detail is amazing. Flowers were ready out of the freezer in less than 5 minutes.I am so happy with this! I made my own sugar Roses in pink, gold, and wine colors to go with my Royal Albert - Old Country Rose china set. I have Low Tea a couple of times a year at my house. The Ladies Loved my Rose Sugars so much they asked if they could "Please, take some home?" I will be making these all the time now!I was pleasantly surprised! Didn't expect it to come out as good as it did since I wasn't using it for intended purpose, but after seeing how well it formed frozen snail food, I'm tempted to actually use it for candy! Put these guys in the freezer and it's easier to push out of the molds.Wilton is the BEST. I ordered the lovely candy molds. They turned out beautifully, and the detail on them is superb. My package came in a timely manner, and I have already finished 200 of them for a wedding cupcake “cake.” Thank you Wilton. I highly recommend you to everyone.This mold is great! I actually use mine to make bath bombs instead of candy, but they turn out great. The pictures are very accurate and the mold feels high quality. I would buy again.Love it!
